Description

The history of tea production in keemun dates back to the Chinese Tang Dynasty. The popularity of keemun black tea is due to the favorable geographical conditions and the warm, wet and rainy climate of the region. The leaves of keemun black tea are soft and rich in water-soluble substances. The finished tea has a moist appearance, a clear and aromatic substance and a honey flavor. The tea also contains orchid fragrance (known as " keemun fragrance"), rich and lasting. Keemun black tea is red and bright in color and leaf base. It tastes fresh and mellow. When consumed with milk or sugar, the aroma is not only not reduced, but more intense. In 1915, after winning the Gold Medal of the Panama World Exposition, Keemun black tea became the favorite tea of the British royal family and was known as the "Queen of Black Tea". Since then, the status of Keemun black tea has remained high, and it is frequently presented as a national gift to worldwide guests, which not only highlights the friendship and affection between the countries, but also exports the tea culture with Chinese characteristics.
