Master Fangyuan, also known as Laotu. Male, Han ethnicity, born in March 1965 in Tongling City, Anhui Province. In 1986, he enrolled in the People's Liberation Army Academy of Art to study oil painting. In 1995, he began to work in ceramic craftsmanship and ceramic art creation.

Created Experience:

In 2001, Fangyuan Ceramic Art Studio was established, and in the same year, a wave of wild animal creation swept through the field of ceramic painting in Jingdezhen. 


In 2004, "Peony" was created using a unique technique that combines oil painting with traditional Chinese painting to create heavy colors on porcelain plates. And won the special prize at the first Youth Ceramic Works Exhibition in Jingdezhen City.

In November 2006, the work "Silent Observer" won the Gold Award at the 8th Shanghai International Art Festival Master's Fine Works Expo and the China Light Industry Federation.

In 2010, the ceramic pot won the Excellent Award from the China Light Industry Federation of the China Ceramic Industry Association in the 9th National Ceramic Art and Design Innovation Competition.

In March 2011, the ceramic work "Autumn Colors of Lotus Pond" won the Gold Award of the China Arts and Crafts Society at the 9th National "Chinese Art Cup".

In October 2011, the ceramic work "Love Autumn" won the gold award from the China Arts and Crafts Society at the 5th Hefei International Cultural Expo.

In November 2013, the ceramic work "Eagle" won the Traditional Art Gold Award of the China Light Industry Federation at the 15th Arts and Crafts Masters Fine Arts Expo.

In 2013, the work "Mountain Stream" won the Gold Award from the China Arts and Crafts Society of the China Light Industry Federation.

In March 2023, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China awarded the honorary title of "Fangyuan (Ceramic Realistic Oil Painting Animal Flower and Bird) Ceramic Art Studio".
